Rockal y la Cria fue la banda de Rocky Rodríguez donde también participó su ex compañero "Cuevero" y de su anterior banda Piel de Pueblo; Pajarito Zaguri. Con este disco no tuvieron mucha repercusión y paso completamente desapercibido, pero eso no significa que deje de ser una gema de nuestro rock; cargado del mejor blues, rock, zapadas y letras contestatarias que denotaban los cambios socio-políticos de nuestra Argentina en 1973. Cabe destacar el excelente sonido del disco, los arreglos, todo un adelanto para la época. Lamentablemente, éste es su único disco que salio publicado en 1973.
